Memorial Day Weekend 2011

We got our camper out this weekend and headed up north to Whiskey Creek with the 3 of us. Brandon was able to get out of work early on Friday, so we had an extra long weekend together! I don't think we have had 4 days in a row together, without working, since our honeymoon! I was super excited!

We got up there Friday about noon, and started getting all settled in. We had lots of friends and family that were camping with us: Jake, Andrea & Wesleigh, Aunt Nelly & Schamper, Bucky & Keith, Brandon's parents, and of course Chad Danielle & Craven.

We had a great weekend, despite a little bit of rain. Here are some memories we captured.

What a fabulous weekend we enjoyed. Shared lots of laughs and made lots of memories with wonderful friends and family! :) We are looking forward to heading back up there in a couple of weeks for the big Grand Opening Weekend!

What a wonderful birthday weekend I had with my boys. They are the best! :)

Here's a recap:

Friday, after doing some running around we played in Bentley's kiddie pool for a bit. It was a gorgeous day!!!!

Saturday morning Daddy took Bentley to work for a bit so Mommy could sleep in! And sleep in I did, until 11!!! :) It felt soo good!

Daddy brought Bentley back home and we attempted to color a birthday card....attempted being the key word..

Again, look at that belly! (and all the marker on it!)

Sunday we spent some time outside in the sun in the backyard. I was anxious to see how Bentley did crawling around in the grass.

Well, he's afraid of it. He wouldn't leave the blanket!

Always watching Daddy...

I am very thankful the Good Lord spared us another year, I mean I did turn 25 (and yes, that's old!) but I sure didn't think that meant the world had to end! ;)

Things are getting busier around our house with Bentley being on the move now. Of course, he is attracted to everything he isn't supposed to have, his favorites being the dog dishes...

 He even turns around to make sure we aren't watching...

Being able to move now, he has also gotten his first boo boo.

You can see the little cut under his eye - he fell and his dozer got him. :(

Many tears and even a little blood were shed, but I am confident this won't be the last little mishap we have!

On another note: we are starting to expirement with some cheerios and goldfish. He has four teeth now, so I thought it was time he starting trying some finger foods. He is loving all the new tastes and flavors, and I am loving that I can keep him occupied in his high chair and get a few things done! ;)

Oh, and bub is loving the leftovers...

Even things like mom's lens cover make it in the mouth these days. In fact, friday he enjoyed his first piece of dog food, until his mean old mom fished it out. I think some more teeth are trying to come through...but we can't see anything yet!

Crawling!

Watch out world - HES ON THE MOVE!!!

Yes, we may or may not have bribed him with food, but it worked, and now he is crawling without any bribery...or food! :)

And Tanner is wondering why on earth we worked so hard to get him crawling - didn't we know that Tanner didn't want to spend his evenings getting tugged on by a baby? ;)

Hopefully I can get some video soon, so stay tuned. In the mean time - its time to baby proof!!!

I feel tired, and crabby, and just don't want to smile much.

But then, I remember that I get to come home to this:

We had a great birthday dinner last night with Nana & Papa Posma to celebrate Nana's birthday!

Nana even shared her birthday sundae with Bentley! :)

Tulip Time 2011

Too much Tulip Time!

On Thursday afternoon we went to the kids parade with Aunt TT and Charley, and our friends Sarah, Hunter && Preston.

Bentley and Charley slept pretty much the whole time...Bentley woke up just in time to see the fire trucks! :) Maybe next year he will enjoy it a bit more.

Hunter had the best seat in the house!

We had a great week making memories with friends && family this year!
