{weekend/rewind}

Im feeling like it might be safe to say summer has finally arrived? What a gorgeous weekend we had this past few days!
Friday afternoon I was able to catch up with my bitties...Jen is home for the holiday so we enjoyed drinks and lunch on the patio at boatwerks.
While I was gone the boys worked on the farm with Grampa, and Bentley learned how to drive the golf cart. Hes so proud, and so is Grampa! :)
Saturday morning was a lazy one. We had coffee and played with Sawyer Jett Foster and Quinn. Jett is real close to crawling; closer than Evie. They had fun playing together.
And I had fun snuggling sweet pretty Quinn. What a little peanut!
We had big naps to make up for the lack of on Friday. Then we headed to the Marina for dinner. The babies had fun sharing a swing at the playground after we ate! Look at pretty with her little tum tum hanging out and all!
Harrison did some fishing while we got the boat ready to go for a ride. We putzed around Lake Mac, it wasn't very warm out. We decided to spend the night on the boat, first time this year. Evie struggled to find her comfy spot and pass out, she stared at me like this on and off for almost an hour. She finally gave in about 10 pm.
Everyone slept all night. Bentley was up just before 7, as was Evelyn. Not much earlier than normal, so a win in my book for sure! The boys can't wait to do it again!
We headed to Nykerk's beach on Sunday for a beach day with some friends. Bentley and I tried our hand at stand up paddle boarding. The water was super cold, thankfully we didn't tip over!

Beauty girl is a beach babe! She had a hard time getting comfy but she ended up taking two naps under her umbrella in her little bed. Such a sweet princess! Harrison just couldn't quite make it back to Holland while co-piloting with Dad. Sweet boy played hard!

Two friends broke down so we towed them back to Holland. It was a slow go, but we made it. Thank goodness our boat is still running...makes me want to just keep it in the slip for the remainder of the season to be safe! The boys finished up their sunday with a little more fishing before we headed home. They aren't very patient fisherman, so they didn't have much luck.

We have a quiet week ahead, in anticipation of a fun and busy weekend for the holiday! We are hoping to spend much more time on the boat, with our little boaters!!!

Fathers Day 2015

We spent Father's day this year on the boat - daddy's favorite thing! :) The weather was not super nice but we made the best of it and even managed to get a little sunburned.
The kids LOVE playing on the beach. They skip naps and play fine...its the best! Watching them play together and sitting in the sun give my happy tank a good refill too!

The boys filled out surveys for Brandon this year...some of their answers were too funny!
Happy Father's Day to one amazing man. We love you so much and are beyond thankful that God gave us YOU!

{{weekend/rewind}}

We are officially in summer mode around here...completely off schedule, making plans on a whim, staying up late and sleeping in. I love it, and so do the boys! :)

Friday I helped out at my old job for the day. It was a wonderful change of pace for me, to be away from the kids for a bit and have some adult time! Plus it felt good to get ready and be able to wear a dress, all day!
The kids spent the day with Gramma, in which they were nothing short of spoiled. When I picked up Evelyn, Gramma pointed out that she had finally popped a bottom tooth!! Come to find out, it was two, side by side, on the bottom.
We are working with the boys on staying dry in their beds at night...and Friday night they did. So we had breakfast at Tim Horton's and checked out the lego display of the new wash they will soon be building! The boys were super impressed!
I spent Saturday afternoon holding Evie, whose teeth hurt, and then we spent the early evening helping Daddy finish cleaning the boat so we could use it! Sunday afternoon when the rain stopped we finally launched. Beauty girl let us know right away she was not a fan of her life jacket!
I think if she had a pink one, maybe she would be! ;)
Captain Daddy and all his mates! Three years ago we bought that boat, which gave us so much more space than the one we had before. Now, I sit in the back seat, alone. :P
The fog rolled in very quickly..thank goodness for GPS we were able to navigate back to the slip. It was really cool to see but a little spooky too when you can't see where you are headed...
We have another busy week this week as I am back at Graphix for 3 days, helping out while someone takes vacation. I am looking forward to it, but also trying to soak up the time with the kiddos! Oh, and stay on top of house chores. I almost forgot what its like to be a working mom!! :S

{{6 months}}

My tritty, my beauty, my girl!
So much for shortening names, we can't decide what to call you so we call you a whole list! :)
Its been a half year since we've been together now...so many things are changing in your little world yet you still seem like such a "baby" to me.
You are taking two big naps during the day, but can easy be fine without your morning nap. You are sleeping a solid 12 hours at night yet, unswaddled. You are waking up a few times for your pacifier or because you are stuck in a corner, since we don't have you swaddled anymore.
You are drinking 8 ounces every 4 hours and having avocado by spoon for dinner. We are going to start more greens this week.
You love to be able to see whats going, and track your brothers' every move with your little blue eyes. They definatley make you smile, the most, though they are sometimes the cause of some tears too. You would think after 6 months, the novelty of you would wear off, but it sure hasn't for them!
You are playing in your exersaucer a lot, less in your bouncy seat, you like the door way jumper and you like to just be able to roll around on the floor. You are rolling alllll over, and putting anything within reach into your mouth. You are very precise with your hands.
You are wearing 6-12 month clothes, depending on the brand, and size 3 diapers. Your hair is starting to come in little by little, more each day. I can't wait for top knots and pigtails!
You jabber and squeal all the time. You belly laugh the best for mommy, but daddy comes in a close second!! You love to swing in your swing, and be outside in general. There is so much for you to watch, and you like that.
You still love to be held, and rocked to sleep. I love this little infancy about you yet. On the other hand, late night wake ups for the paci can be a challenge, when you flash us that adorable smile and bat those baby blues!
We are looking forward to a super fun summer with you, and watching you continue to grow and interact with our family. You are such a blessing sweet love, and we love you so much!!!
