19 months

Baby Girl -
Another month has come and gone. You are really starting to turn into a little girl now...more baby disappears by the minute these days it seems.
You LOVE the water, and the beach. You love to eat, and steal chairs at the beach, too! It's a good thing you're cute.

You are starting to have some words, but still not many. Doctor said he isn't worried, he knows some day you will start talking and probably never stop! You love your brothers and have to be where they are and do what they are doing, always. They are super protective of you and love having you around - most of the time. You are starting to actually play with them, and you still love to play trucks and tractors (two of the words you do have, too!)

You are sleeping super great at the new house - 10-12 hours at night and a big long afternoon nap. All the fresh air and extra ground to cover gets you worn right out! You are still in size 5 diapers and wearing 24mo and 2t clothes. We just moved you up to size 5/6 shoes because your 4's just didn't fit one morning.

You're always happy and you get excited when Daddy comes home, or any of your grandparents come over. You are very laid back and easy going, until we tell you NO or you don't get your way. You do like to steal toys from your brothers and then scream like they shouldn't be taking them back.
In so many ways, you are different from them as a girl. You are more content with less, you are less buys (sometimes), you love to carry things over your arms as if they are purses and you love to do your hair and pretend to play makeup. You also love to get dressed, even if you already have clothes on. Last week you wore two dresses one day!! ;)
We are having so much fun watching you change and grow and we can't wait to see what's next! We love you, beauty girl! xoxo

We Moved!!

As I mentioned in my last post, we bought a house, thus opening a new chapter in our lives. We are SO excited about our new place, and we are loving getting settled in.
Here are a few pics I snapped along the way.

The reason we even found the house in the first place (we weren't really looking) was because of a link that Jen shared on her FB page. Jen and I have been friends going on 16 or so years. I sent the link to brandon and didnt think much of it, but we decided to check it out in the open house. Well, we kinda fell in love and wrote an offer.
Our offer was contingent on the first offer falling apart, so we didn't really get our hopes up. We knew if it was meant to be, it would work out. After waiting about two weeks, we got the call that the first offer was no longer going to work out and the house was ours!
This was Jen's first sale, so we had to snap some pics at closing.
The day before closing, my in laws lent us a trailer so I could start doing some packing and loading. The boys were BIIIIIG helpers, and we loaded this trailer not once, but twice! with things out of the old house, ready for the new.
Finally after a couple trailer loads, we camped out the first night in our new place (friday of 4th of july weekend.) everyone slept great, but daddy and I were happy to have a bed the next night instead of an air mattress!
Saturday morning we got up early and went to meet the movers at the old house to get the furniture. Thanks to auntie Jen who kept Evie girl all day and made things a bit easier for us!
the boys finally got to relax in their "housewarming" gift from mom and dad, about 4 pm on Saturday. They love their canoes, as they call them!
I am slowly but surely getting upacked and making the new house a home.
Thank you to our parents, Kaindls and a handful of friends who helped us with the kids and moving. We seriously could not have done it without you all!

June recap

Our month of June went fast...and went from quiet to crazy in a week...more on that later.

We started the month with Kinder screening for Bentley. We will be switching him from ZCS to ZPS...and switching him again within district. Either way, he is pretty excited about a new school!
ps, class of 2029...really?
We enjoyed a couple visits to the splash pad. The boys love it there and Evelyn is finally starting to get wet instead of just wandering around scamming food from innocent bystanders. (this is not a lie)
some busy weekends led to some lazy mornings in moms bed watching cartoons. the best!!
We headed to Farmer's market for the first time! Always a fun way to spend a midweek summer morning.
The boys had fun sharpening their tree climbing skills in the tree out front.
We spent a sunday evening at the beach. the water was beyond freezing but our crazies swam anyway!

Evie just had fun pushing dump trucks for endless amounts of miles.
both the boys learned how to pump on the swingset! hallelujah, right?!?! Now I only have to push ONE kid in a swing! ;)
The boys attended two weeks of VBS at two different churches. they learned SO much and had a great time learning about God and his love for them, along with some great songs we sing on the daily.
We spent fathers day at Whiskey Creek with the Posma's. The kids had a great day getting dirty, and swimming in the pond!

Back to market, for some fresh berries!
some play doh action one rainy morning.
We spent most of our days/nights outside. The boys had so much fun working in their "jobsite" and Evie had a great time wandering around and watching them.

I was able to have an afternoon away to go kayaking with some girlfriends! We had a perfect day for it and it was super relaxing to be able to enjoy some adult conversation and God's gorgeous creation.
The month ended totally crazy and in the midst I ran a quick 5K with some friends. The least training I have ever done for a 5K and the best time I have ever had. kinda crazy!
On June 29 we closed on a new home...therefore closing a chapter in our lives and opening a new one. I can't wait to post all about it! God is so good, and we are so grateful!
