Memorial Day Weekend 2015

We had another fun and restful holiday weekend! Daddy was home all weekend with us and we made the most of our time together!! :)
The neighbors had a new slab poured Friday next to their driveway so Bentley and I grabbed some front row seats while the younger ones napped. He was pretty impressed!
my little mud magnet!
We spent Friday night at home relaxing, in prep for some big yard projects on Saturday. Evie is loving all the attention from her brothers, and she is starting to grab for their faces and open mouth "kiss" them when they get close!
Saturday morning, we set out early and cut down a tree in the backyard. It was a super messy tree that shaded over half our deck. I wanted it gone, and after some convincing B, we took it down!
Then we spread mulch. The boys are big helpers this year with all daddy's projects!
Saturday night we headed to Berlin to celebrate my birthday with my family. The kids love to hang out in the suite, and its easy with the babies.
Evie girl rocking some sweet ear protection. She could hardly smile they smooshed her cheeks so much!
He loves his G&G! It was a perfect night to be outside, in the sun!
Miss Evie fell asleep in her stroller and would whimper, with her eyes closed, everytime the cars came down the front stretch (she was inside). So we snuck the ear protection back on and she slept like a log!! Still not sure we made a race fan out of her, but she was a trooper!
The later the night went, the goofier the boys got, but they had fun! Harry had his own little dance party while he was waiting for the fireworks to start!!
We slept in Sunday, after a later-than-normal-night and got back to our yard chores after lunch and some naps. The boys wasted no time finding a step so they get in the dump box and help get the rest of the bark out! Never a dull moment...
We passed on the parade this year to continue our yard work. The boys gave a salute to all our fallen heroes, and we prayed for peace for their families.
Evie had her first skid steer ride, around the yard with Daddy.
Long over due, but with the tree now gone, it was time to powerwash the deck! So happy with how it turned out!

Monday afternoon we had friends over to cook out and play!
Evie girl loves being outside, especially with her favorite man!
Princess Quinn and Princess Evie. Its hardly fair to lay my baby next to a newborn cuz she looks so big, and she's not. But I hope these two are the best of friends someday! :)
Now that school is done, we have a quiet week ahead. Another busy weekend coming up celebrating my birthday with our friends!

29th bday

Most of my birthday was spent with Bentley's preschool class, as it was their last day of school, and evening graduation. Gramma watched Evie while the boys and I spent the morning at the park, so after the park we headed to Grammas for lunch.
The kids had a small, adorable card, and some balloons and flowers waiting for me at lunch. I am so grateful for these little loves!!!
We had frosted brownies and everyone had their own candle to blow out with me! So fun to celebrate birthdays with these dudes!!
I am so thankful for another year on earth as a mom, wife, sister and friend. I am looking forward to what God has in store for me in this upcoming year!

Bentley Graduates!

Last week Thursday, Bentley had his last day of preschool, and he had an official graduation ceremony!

he changed so much in just 9 months!!
We spent Thursday morning at Lawrence Park with his class, playing and spending some last fun times together. He was super sweet and included his brother in everything he could.
Mrs. Parrot and Mrs. Klamer will sure be missed. He had a great year with them, they were a very big blessing and positive influence in his little life this past year.

Thursday evening we went to Faith Church for an official ceremony. He was so proud to stand up front and sing songs with his classmates, and then walk across the stage and receive his diploma!!
We celebrated afterwards with ice cream at the dipper!
What a wonderful year Bentley (and the rest of us) have had at zeeland Christian. We are truly blessed and thankful to God for teachers and staff like Mrs. Parrot who help to nuture and grow our children in the faith. We are looking forward to young fives next year, and three school for Harry!

Harrison's BirthDAY & Party

We celebrated Harrison's actual birthday a few days early with a party over the weekend with friends. I decided to have everyone together for dinner, cake and to play -- no presents this year. Its too overwhelming, and honestly our kids are in need of nothing.
He wanted a John Deere party...again I kept it simple. I fashioned this cake for him...wasn't real impressed with myself but he was impressed! ;)
We had it at the farm, which is pretty big, so I didn't decorate. I just let him pick out plates, napkins and hats, and it was just perfect.
The kids spent all night riding their John Deere Tractors and gators around the property - it was just perfect!
Harry and Foster were quite the pair in the gator, all serious faced.
Bentley and Wesleigh were quite the pair in the background, all kissy faced. :o
Sunday we had a relaxing day together, and cleaned up our toys from the night before.
Monday was Harrison's actual birthday, and he spent the morning with Gramma. They grabbed donuts and we off to do some birthday shopping together.
A quick stop at Family Farm and Home and Harry found just what his little heart desired -- a brandy new John Deere Excavator!

We had birthday lunch after school, came home for naps and spent all afternoon and evening in the sandbox. Along with his new digger, Kaindls gave him a new dozer, and Nana & Papa Posma gave him a new tractor with a hay trailer. His jobsite fleet grew again this year! ;)

Harrison Lee Turns THREE!

My little Hooey -
I can hardly believe you are three years old, today.
Though most days you act as though you are five.
You are:
Sugar & Spice.
Fire and Ice.
Shy but Bossy.
Snuggly yet Loud.
Loving but Challenging.
Smart and Hilarious.
One of a Kind.

You are super independent, having to do everything "mine self"...and on your own time and terms. I tried to potty train you, only to struggle and quit. No lie, you trained yourself just a few months later. You are strongwilled, and very precise. Everything has to be just so, and you don't forget a single thing.

You never complain, but if something leaves a bad taste, you don't go there again. You were stung by a bee and now have an intense fear of ALL bugs, certain they are all going to hurt you. You love to smile and laugh. You are goofy, loud and silly, all the time.
You love wholeheartedly...and love everyone.
You and Sawyer are best friends, and worst enemies. you cant go more than a couple days without asking for him, yet you never share or play nice when you're together. I know in my heart you will be best friends someday.
you have learned to ride a bike. again, on your own time and you couldn't be more proud.
your smile is contagious and you have a zest for life that is inspiring.
you love to sing, and dance.
you are still napping, once a day and sleeping about 8-10 hours at night. you and Bentley are sharing clothes for the most part, size 4t. You eat pretty much anything, but love peanut butter and jelly, hotdogs, applesauce, yogurt and would love on 2% milk if I let you.
We have had so much fun watching you grow over the last year and we cannot wait to see what the upcoming year holds. We know the Lord has great plans for you, sweet boy! :) We love you so much, and are so thankful God picked you to be ours!! xoxoxo

Mothers Day 2015

Mothers Day 2015 was another amazing day for me as a mother and wife. Then again, most days are amazing for me with my awesome children and husband! ;)

I had to get a sweet pic with my girl...though it was one of the only pics we got all day. Things get crazy with three now, and most times I don't have any extra hands for picture taking!!
Tuesday night after Mothers Day, I went to school with Bentley for a special mothers night. I was given some wonderful gifts, that he made, that I will cherish forever!
{{funny he says im marvelous because of bedtime, because that is NOT one of the happiest times at our house!}}

He also made me a magnet with is perfectly written little name and some flowers!
The kids also memorized and sang us an adorable song. So glad I caught this on video -- he sure is sweet!!! :)

five months old.

Beauty Girl -
You are FIVE months old today! Everyday things change for you, and its so fun to watch! This is probably one of my favorite "baby" stages. You are starting to show expression and emotion, but aren't on the move yet and are still a good snuggler. Best of all worlds.
You are rolling from back to front, and front to back now.

You love to smile and talk...you are becoming quite vocal too and we love all your stories and babbles.

You grab a hold of anything that comes close to you, with intention, including our faces, and my hair.
We have started trying to feed you rice cereal, but you smile so much that not much stays in. You are much messier than your brothers, at least from what I remember. We will keep trying, I think you will get the hang of it soon!

You and your cousin Jett are hilarious, and love to "play" together. You are constantly reaching for each other, talking to each other and smiling at each other. You love to suck on each others hands...someone else's hand must taste  better than your own ;)
You like to be outside, but are pretty indifferent about your swing. You like that you can see so much but aren't sure about the whole swinging motion itself yet. You love to take walks, and coo and chat pretty much the whole time.

You are wearing 6 and 6-9 month clothes. I am loving the warm weather so you can wear all the cute dresses ive been stock piling! You are still in size 2 diapers, but will be in size 3 soon. You've got your daddys little belly, mahgirl. You are still sleeping about 12 hours at night, but we still haven't established a concrete nap schedule. you are eating 7 ounces about every 4 hours.
Your brothers still cannot keep their hands off of you. Sometimes you are great with it, sometimes you cry and let them know you don't want to be touched. You definitely smile more at Bentley than Harrison, but the last few weeks you have been warming up to him too! :)
It is so fun to watch you start to interact with our family, and we can't wait to see what the next month (and many more) hold for you, pretty girl. You are the best and we love you so much!!
