{{weekend/rewind}} HFM quarantine

Midweek we came down with Hand Foot and Mouth. It started with Evelyn, moved to Harry and a very very mild case moved to Bentley. For fear of spreading this terrible crap, we stayed home from school for two days and cancelled all our weekend Halloween plans.
We got a little stir crazy at times, but we kept busy. Bentley did some homework that was picked up from school for him. He loved that!
We also spent some time outside raking leaves and playing. The fresh air felt so good!
We spent Saturday at home, again and baked some cookies to kill some time. Evelyn had fun "helping" and the boys had fun frosting them with blue and orange frosting! :)
Kaindls came down with HFM too, so we spent the evening together on Halloween. Why not, right?
Great Gram the witch stopped bye with some treats and then we headed out in the rain to trick or treat at a few houses. We put the babys in their carseats, the dad's drove and Jenna and I jumped in and out of the back of my truck with the kids. it worked pretty well, and everyone got just the right amount of candy!
Due to having HFM, we decided to skip church. By Sunday both boys were completely clear, but Evelyn still had blisters on her hands and mouth. :(
We had a non relaxing morning, with the boys up at 5, and then again at 6, for good (thank you time change)...so we made the best of it and headed out about 10 for the jobsite in GR.
Daddy had to check on some things due to the previous rain days so the kids and I played and enjoyed the gorgeous weather!

We finished our day with some outdoor play and a bike ride. Just perfect! :)
