Happy FIRST Father's Day to the Best Daddy in the World!
Brandon got to celebrate his first Father's Day yesterday with Bentley. It was a great day for all of us.
We all slept in till about 8 and then got up and got ready for lunch at Wade && Nancy's. Bentley went down for a nap about 10 so Brandon and I got to spend some quiet time together too, which was amazing. We don't get much of that anymore these days! :)
We headed to Wade & Nancy's at about noon and had played outside with Nolan, Chet, Addison & Ellery for a while before we ate lunch. We had steaks on the grill, asparagus, potatoes, salad, mushrooms and garlic bread - YUM! The kids played outside some more and we opened presents on the deck. We headed home early afternoon to put Bentley down for another nap. We thought about taking the boat out, but we were all a bit tired from Saturday! We napped instead, ran some errands and took a family walk.
We had a great day as a family celebrating a wonderful Daddy & Husband.
