With Daddy back to work, some point of our day consists of a jobsite visit. :) It's so wonderful to watch my husband back in his "element", rocking such a genuine smile and bursting with happiness. I love this confident, happy and fulfilled man he is becoming. God is SO good!
Friday was just too gorgeous not to be outside, and give our new shades a test run...harry likes to wear his like daddy...his poor ears had to hurt, but his stubborn little self would not let me help fix it. ;)
We spent our friday night outdoors with some friends...the bubble gun was a hit! :)
Saturday morning we slept in and relaxed, only to hear some rumbling outside. Daddy had come home with a dump truck, so we had to take advantage of a jammy photo op!
and then Daddy left...and we stayed.
tears were shed and it took us almost all morning to recover.
Saturday night we snuck out for date night and had dinner at Wild Chef. Their food is always so good, and despite their recent sickness issues, we thought we would give it a try. It did not disappoint!
The boys went to the farm with Kevin and Casey to see baby kittens, chicks and cows, as well as play in the mud and chase ducks. It was a win win all around! ;)
Sunday I had nursery duty at the early service and got to love on Soy. :) He is my little buddy when its just the two of us, I can't get enough of his lovins!
We relaxed after church and took naps followed by our favorite sunday night rides around town! It was a perfect weekend. We are looking forward to a fun {and rainy} week.
