Its always hard to decide what should come first: the good or the bad.
this time we are gonna go with the good.
Harrison is walking! he is trucking allllll over the place, finally able to keep up with big bro!
he still crawls once in a while, when high speeds are needed. :)
and now, for the "bad."
I shouldn't even say bad. I should say the not fun parts of parenting.
the things we never want to experience but know as parents of toddlers, we most likely will.
the things that you want to protect your children from but sometimes the things that need to happen for lessons to be learned.
we had our first emergency room visit this week.
Bentley fell out of a shopping cart at Meijer.
Thankfully, after getting his head checked out, we realized he was fine. He had three hematomas (goose eggs) and a small scrape, but nothing that needed stitches and no skull fractures or concussion damage.
Praise our Good Lord for keeping him safe and not letting things turn out any worse.
Things are never as scary when Grampa is there to hold your hand.
he even fell asleep waiting for the doctor to come in!
looks worse than it is. but had to get a pic for later. :)
he loved getting his blood pressure taken.
the nurse told him it was a hug for his arm.
he couldn't have been happier about it.
my sweetest guy was a big boy trooper. he hardly cried, he listened to all the doctors questions, answered them confidently and correctly and followed directions like a champ. I could not be more proud!
What I could be though, is never found in an emergency room with my babies again!
[[wishful thinking right? i am a #momofboys]]

UGG!! ER visits are SO SAD with little ones! Eddie had to have his eyebrow stitched shut when he was 2.5 and my heart broke in a million pieces.
ReplyDeleteBut YAY Harry!! Next he will be running...to keep up with Charlie!!!
