ER visit {round two}

call me crazy, or a hypochondriac, but we were at the ER again this week.

I took Harry in to his ped for a fever and determined he had an ear infection.
we were prescribed amoxicillin and sent on our way.

we got home and he would not let me put him down.
literally just would not.
this is all he did:
absolutely heart breaking.
and then his fever started to climb.
like to 103.8.
so at 3 am I packed him up and we headed to the ER.
everything else looked fine so they gave him some extra strength tylenol and motrin and he slept while we waited for his fever to go down.
it took some time, but we finally got it down to 101ish.
such a trooper he was.
high fevers are scary. and even though nothing was seriously wrong, i am thankful we decided to take him in because i would rather be safe than sorry.
after some sleep, some more amox, motrin and tylenol, i think he is finally out of the woods.
he is fighting his brother back for toys, eating, and talking again.
its amazing how a simple ear infection can really make us thankful for otherwise good health!
